Busy at work in the spring day dirt. Talking & getting excited about planting our garden. I am putting into practice the idea of slowing down to his speed... he is a wonderful teacher.

Our morning

Well, that was an intense half-year. I'm looking forward to being back here a bit more often...

our first day of school

every morning, now. and what a pleasant commute it is, gideon telling me all about the things we pass & what we might do at school.

ahh, naptime. the only thing more peaceful than a sleeping babe is 8 sleeping babes, all in a row.

pooped.

after a wonderful visit with friends. he is really testing every aspect of this lying-down-on-his-own-to-fall-asleep thing. as you can see, he is determined to let me know that he will not go down without a ... snub.

sweet ride.

it started out as sort of a joke, but gideon begged and pleaded not to get out. he looked like he was going to fall asleep after just a few minutes. pretty cozy & safe, there in dad's purse.

ah, summer.
