after a wonderful visit with friends. he is really testing every aspect of this lying-down-on-his-own-to-fall-asleep thing. as you can see, he is determined to let me know that he will not go down without a ... snub.

it started out as sort of a joke, but gideon begged and pleaded not to get out. he looked like he was going to fall asleep after just a few minutes. pretty cozy & safe, there in dad's purse.
