gideon is 8 months old today. i can't believe that he has been out almost as long as he was in.

granny harper gave us the book "love you forever" recently... it was a favorite of mine when i was little.

i couldn't read the first page without crying, i'm such a sorry sap. joe said 'i'll read it,' but i was determined, so i just read it and cried (and laughed at myself; and laughed at joe laughing (and ultimately crying) with me) the whole way through.
