a wonderful day off (after breakfast) with gideon and isabella. we went for a walk, played at the playground, went for another walk, stuck our toes in the-- rocks.. and soaked in all the sun we could get, for fear that this too is but a fleeting visit! needless to say, we're all a little toasted. i so thoroughly enjoyed the day, though, that i'm left feeling ready to go back to work. i didn't even think that could happen here.
